Presbyterian Women
Presbyterian Women consist of three active circles that meet for Bible Study, service, and fellowship. The Presbyterian Women engage in study, fellowship, and service projects. Recently, circles have been involved in:
- Writing monthly to our missionaries
- Sending birthday cards to the Children's Home of the Highlands
- Providing food for minglings, shut-ins, circle members in need, bloodmobile attendees, DUCO's food closet
- Providing items for the PORT homeless ministry
- Supplying phone cards to wounded Service personnel
- Making dresses for needy schoolgirls
- Sending disaster relief to Franklin flooded areas
- Contributing money to an orphanage in Nicaragua
- Cleaning up Adopt-a-Spot
- Supporting Samaratan's Purse Christmas Shoeboxes
- Showing Christ's love through many other projects
Our Presbyterian Women plan to continue their Bible studies and fellowship, continue their support of local and worldwide ministries, and try to involve more women in their Christian walk of faith and work for the church.
